Who has believed what he has heard,
To whom has the arm of the Lord;
That has been revealed in the Word,
And that so many have ignored.
For He grew up like a young plant,
Like a root out of the dry ground;
Throughout the land that would enchant,
Desires of Heaven do sound.
He was despised and rejected,
A man acquainted with sorrow;
For the Father had selected,
Showing the hope for tomorrow.
Instead, we had esteemed Him not,
Some men had hidden their faces;
The sorrows and griefs that He sought,
Had been smitten through disgraces.
He was pierced for the transgressions,
Crushed for our iniquities;
Falsely accused allegations,
Judged under illegalities.
The chastisement that brought us peace,
Upon His wounds we have been healed;
Allows separation to cease,
And fruits of labor can now yield.
We are sheep that have gone astray,
That the Lord took the sins of all;
Turned everyone unto His way,
And catch them when they start to fall.
