Do not ever be ashamed,
To testify for the Lord;
Share the Gospel as proclaimed,
As you walk in one accord.
He gave a holy calling,
For His intention and grace;
Before we started falling,
And caught us in His embrace.
God gave before time began,
Christ Jesus for our needs;
In the world within His plan,
Knowing about our deeds.
It is now manifested,
In seeing our Savior;
For what had been invested,
To look on us with favor.
He abolished death for life,
Immortality to light;
Although we are faced with strife,
His Gospel gives us insight.
He ordained me a poet,
As a poetry teacher;
With the help of His Spirit,
Professing as a preacher.
So I suffer as I do,
But I am never ashamed;
And continue to pursue,
That my poetry proclaimed.
For I know whom I believe,
Convinced to remain on guard;
Till the day I will receive,
When I stand in His courtyard.
