The Lord saw and abhorred them,
Because of the provocation;
Sons and daughters He did condemn,
For all of their indignation.
From them, the Lord will hide His face,
And He will what their end will be;
A people perverse in disgrace,
No faithfulness that He can see.
They made Him jealous with no god,
Provoking Him to an anger;
A foolish nation that they laud,
As they immorally languor.
Fire is kindled promoting wrath,
As it burns in the depths of hell;
Because their ways follow that path,
That is where they will have to dwell.
Fire shall then devour the earth,
Sets on fire the foundation;
The mountains will lose all their worth,
No longer giving salvation.
