You must remember, beloved,
The predictions of our Lord;
The things that should be avoided,
For remaining in one accord.
For the end times will bring scoffers,
Following ungodly passions;
Ungodly lusts being mockers,
Breaking from orthodox fashions.
It is these who cause division,
People devoid of the Spirit;
Having no heavenly vision,
And evil to be good merit.
Your holy faith must be built up,
To pray in the Holy Spirit;
Reject drink from the poison cup,
Quench thirst that you inherit.
Keep yourself in the love of God,
Wait for mercy from Jesus Christ;
The Holy Spirit cleans where flawed,
Avoids the lure that had enticed.
Eternal life is where He leads,
Giving mercy to those who doubt;
Having compassion for your needs,
A purpose what life is about.
Snatch others out of the fire,
For showing them mercy with fear;
Causes of fleshy desire,
The consequences are severe.
