God has revealed through His Spirit,
The Spirit searches everything;
Even deep things of God’s merit,
About what the future may bring.
For who would know the thoughts of man,
Except oneself within their soul;
Nobody comprehends God’s plan,
Only His Spirit can cajole.
We have not the worldly spirit,
But the Spirit who is from God;
Knowing what we will inherit,
If we truly honor and laud.
Realize what is freely given,
Things that are spoken to impart;
Spiritual truth flows from Heaven,
That His Spirit plants in your heart.
Natural men have not these things,
For they are foolishness to him;
Perceives not what His Spirit brings,
His attitude in life is grim.
The spiritual man judges all things,
But in him is judged by no one;
Unto the cross that someone clings,
Knows that Jesus is God the Son.
To realize the mind of the Lord,
Will be having the mind of Christ;
Possesses thoughts in one accord,
Perceives why He was sacrificed.
