I urge supplication and prayer,
Intercession and thanksgiving;
Made to the Father that you share,
Through the God who is forgiving.
For kings and rulers of nations,
To lead a peaceful quiet life;
All who are in high positions,
Dignified and beyond the strife.
It’s pleasing to the sight of God,
As Savior who wants us be saved;
Knowledge of the truth as we laud,
And no longer to sin enslaved.
There’s one God and mediator,
That does stand between God and man;
Christ as the emancipator,
Which all fits in the Father’s plan.
He gave us a ransom for all,
To be testified in due time;
Because of Adam took a fall,
Disobedience for a crime.
I’m a poet, not a preacher,
Telling the truth without a lie;
To the Gentiles a teacher,
In faith and truth not to deny.
