If we have been united,
With Jesus Christ in a death;
We would then be delighted,
Resurrected with new breath.
The old self was crucified,
A body enslaved to sin;
Resurrection justified.
Having a new life begin.
One has died to be set free,
For if we have died with Christ;
We believe we live to see,
No desires that enticed.
For Christ was raised from the dead,
And will never die again;
Death no longer will we dread,
For faith and belief has been.
For the death, He died to sin,
Unto God the life He lives;
Your salvation does win,
Your trespasses God forgives.
You are dead till you confess,
But through Christ you are alive;
Erasing the times you transgress,
He assures you to revive.
