First DraftWithin today's moments Spent in quiet And deep And private Thoughts All contemplating words And pictures Written and drawn In the shapes of days, months, years Upon the slate of my life To this point in time Each thought making mental notes In the margin Of every day A Soul's commentary on what I would Or would not change I look back over this script As a whole And realize Oh, God!
