Visit To A Small Planet
Stand on the Moon
For just a fraction of a moment
One little blurb of vision
In the mind eye's perception
Or better yet....
Grab a seat wheresoever you find one
Lost in space
Beyond Jupiter or Mars
Or places where only Angels
And Aliens
Fear to tread.
Look up or down or back
At this blue, white spinning marble
Of a world
We higher forms of life
Once upon a time termed
"Earth".
So small
In the grand scheme of things
So fragile
To what lies before and beyond
One entity
Encompassing all who call it
"Home".
Lay quietly in the coolness
Of the grass being shaded
On a warm, sunny day
Reality of being and mind
Once again in focus
