DESTINATIONS - From There To Here and Here To There
With Your Permission
Let me sing you a song
Of words not tunes
In rhythms with rhymes
With verses that croon.
Let me tell you a tale
Wrapped in pen and ink
Each passage all designed
For you to feel and think.
Let me paint you a picture
Drawn by each watercolored line
Taking shape in your memory
Into a masterpiece of mind.
Let me excite all your senses
And then quiet your Soul.
I will honor every Spirit
In all that I've told.
Let me be, for a moment
In your life, as a part
Let me offer you my poetry
As my gift from the heart.
