Many know of judgment day to still come,
When we part the righteous from the scum;
We stumble through many things each day,
Too often it causes us to even stray away;
For the tongue is fire which none can tame,
So restless evil and can't douse the flame;
Who is wise and understanding among you?
His life and works in meek wisdom will do;
If you have bitter jealousy in your heart,
You can not tell the truth and a lie apart;
This type of wisdom is not from above,
Rather of an earthly or devilish thereof;
For where jealousy and faction may heed,
There is confusion and every vile deed;
But wisdom from God above is so pure,
It's peaceful kind gentle and will endure;
It's full of mercy and good fruits forever,
It will guide you through every endeavor;
The fruit of righteousness sown in peace,
For those of you whose fighting has cease.
