 Penniluck's legacy

Life`s Olympics.

This special birthday
Yes, sixty years old.
In life`s Olympics
You`ve earned a gold.
At birth you were tiny
But you beat the odds
You lived, you grew up
A child of the gods.
Into your forties
The big C came creeping
You beat the bugger
So no need for weeping.
You`d just turned fifty
When heart pain began
`Though only half hearted
You beat it and ran.
Your life has been dicey
Yet you played the game.
Your mascot`s an angel
God knows your name.
Sure it`s been rough dear
But you`re lucky too.
Don`t count the years love
But blessings, won`t you.
