Death took two dark-eyed daughters

Two daughters of the People of the Book
Arab and Jew

I sit and wonder

Where in the Koran
Does Allah,
The Most Merciful,
The Most Compassionate,
Command the sending of children to kill children
O' Israel, O' Islam, O' People of the Book
The Lord our God is one God
And His world is one world
Hear O' Sons and Daughters of Abraham--
Our blood is one blood
What we do to each other, we do to God.
All Earth is Holy
All People are Chosen
