A Tourist  At Gettysburg

          The beauty of this place
                     Is defined by green
          And the specialness of blue
And the quietness of still marble
                     On an autumn afternoon

But the power of this place
                     Is forged in red
The fire of blood burned in battle
Of souls torn from flesh by steel
And long hours of agonizing death
