Sometimes I'll just wake up in the morning,
So suddenly happens without any warning;
No sound or light to cause, nothing at all,
Just a feeling of a presence that I recall;
It's hard to explain exactly the sensation,
Just merely a feeling of total relaxation;
It's not a sense of fear that overwhelms,
Rather an enhancement of new realms;
What a feeling with peace and comfort,
I feel nearly like an open book, so overt;
My body then quivers, an energy stream,
I am awake, but feels nearly as a dream;
Knowledge I never knew pops in my head,
Expanding my wisdom as I feel it spread;
The warmth builds within, flows throughout,
The Holy Spirit is in me, I have no doubt;
Then all the sensation slowly to subside,
As I try to wake up my wife to confide;
Such a feeling that I never can ignore it,
A morning visitation by the Holy Spirit.
