LOOKING UNTO JESUS ... Heb. 12:2

THE IN-GROWING OF TIME IS SHORT LIVED

There is an in-growing within through out our lives which
becomes visible and plainly seen, as we age, from one appearance
to the next. From the time we are born there is a slow process
of death's grip taking progress. There are times in our lives the
progress seems to be inactive, as we try to hold on to a
moment of jubilation. But, like grains of sand, the events of our lives
slip and slide through our fingers, as the in-growing of time is short lived.

There is also an in-growing outwardly through our lives which also
becomes visible and plainly seen, as we age, from one appearance
to the next. There are times in our lives when this progress seems
also to be inactive, as our inner strength and strong determination will
move us toward our clash. But like a strong fortress that
wins battle after battle is laid to waste and deteriorates,
the in-growing of time is short lived.

There is a growing within and without, and is visible and plainly
seen all around us. Young and old, strong and weak,
life and death; and even the strong sometimes die young …
One thing we learn through life is that life is fragile.
The days we have are numbered and are rapidly fading into the past as we
live one day at a time. What we do with today is what is required,
as the in-growing of time is short lived.
