Bridges to our hearts

We must never stop dreaming
and we must continue believing
Because The bridges
to our heart's
are waiting to be built
One heart beat
at a time
There are many
promises awaiting us
So don't stand in line
Some promises
may be deceiving
Yet other promises
are ready to be built
on the promises
of a prayer
Don't be left behind
and don't stop believing
No matter how hard
or how difficult it may be
Because we have to believe
and let God
walk by our side
every step of the way
There are many lessons
that we need to
learn along the way
And there will be times
when we will
experience sorrows
and at other times
we will experience defeat
But through sorrow
and defeat
there is also victory
This is how
character is built
through our hearts
and through the seeds
that are planted in our minds
one day at a time
And this is how the bridges
to our hearts
will become stronger
then they were the day before
There may be
many storms
along the way
But I cant see that
getting in our way
After every storm
a new rainbow
always appears
to enlighten us
and to fill our lives
with beautiful radiant colors
to remind us
That the storms
are behind us now
and the Gray skies
will begin to
fade away
and disappear
Don't look back
Because yesterday
is gone forever
Look forward
and the darkness
will fade away
With just one
ounce of faith
You will begin to see
that the bridges
to our hearts
can be built
on a strong foundation
Through our faith
and through
our blessings
one step at a time
As long as we nurture
our heart's every day
All of our dreams
will eventually come true
Never quit believing
in the power of prayer
Because there are still
many stones unturned
in our life story
With time
The bridges to our hearts
will be reborn.
