To My Critics

Into this ugly world, I’ve attempted
to instill some sense of beauty in
the form of poetry, but under the
camouflage of hypocrisy my critics
continue to lambaste the music
from my soul.

Undaunted by these winds of
rebuke, I sail on into realms of
creation, writing my thoughts,
and verses of my inspiration.
Which I hereby proclaim to
be poetry.

And to those who disagree,
may the winds of skepticism
blow away their sense of reverie!
