A prayer from a young lady Lord please hear my humble and gloriful cries Have mercy on my tearful eyes I need your warm and loving embrace Take your hands and caress my sweet soft face You are just the man I need To help me be the best that I can be Take away all my worries and troubles And me a better person and more loveable I can't live without you You make me strong in everything I do I need you to survive I need you to make me successful in my life So Lord, can you please just answer my questions can you take my mistakes and turn them into lessons Because I sin so many times a day When I try to do right in every way Please just help me to understand Life, consequences, and matching circumstances Why do things happen like they do Is there some kind of pattern I'm not catching on too Lord, life is so crazy So can you please take the time to listen to a prayer from a young lady Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem |
