~~ Sweep Over My Soul~~
Sweet Spirit of God sweep over me
And fill my inner soul.
My heart is filled with such distress
Down here on earth below.
Cover me fully with Your love
Protect me from all strife
That seems to hover over me
While trying to live this life.
Help me Lord never to judge
For that's up to You to do.
But help me be a witness for You
In everything I do.
My true desire in this life
Is do the best I can.
And if there is someone that's hurting
Help me to be a friend.
Help me to do what You would do
With compassion and forgiving love
To let them know there is a God
Who loves them from above.
