House of secretsYou gave me a glimpse at your life then quickly shut the door left me standing on the step hungry for a little more You peered at me through the window your face was stern and grave though your eyes were flashing daggers silently ignoring me like a beggar Crying, i banged on your door please won't you just let me in? but you never moved from the window never opened the door again The door I laid my hand upon turned to a reddish glow raging flames swallowed the house with you sitting by the window I moved from the fire this house of secrets burned down it burned down right in front of me until it was ashes scattered on the ground With it burned my heart and soul u'll never be able to make me whole You hurt yourself and slept so well Here I am locked in a cell LUBAINA Written for the most amazing man who left me for his own selfish motives 2011 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
