Evening
As sun sets
and day begins to rest it's weary head,
the golden glow of sunset gilds the leaves.
And lying here,
whilst up above the swallow finds his bread
before retiring to his nest beneath the eaves.
Arising,
the breath of England, held for yet another night.
The curtain call of evening.
Of scent ....
and sound ....
and sight ....
