 Penniluck's legacy

Last Single Digit.

Bright blue eyes that twinkle
A dimple on her cheek.
Growing up so fast now
She was eight last week.

Now she`s nine and getting tall
The years are flying fast
But she is just as sweet you know
As she was in the past.

Remember how we skipped along
While taking you to school
Nanny`s just don`t do those things
Or that`s the golden rule.

But darling girl when you grow old
Still keep a child within
Have lots of fun and laughter
Be happy, that`s the thing.

Happy birthday sweetheart
This is your special year.
Next is double figures
So enjoy this one my dear.
