DESTINATIONS - From There To Here and Here To There
WEEP FOR ME
Weep for me now
Set your heart free
To cry for days won
And nights lost.
Weep for me now
And let your tears
Wash away the sadness
Of you losing me
And me losing you.
Weep for me now
For in your pain
You acknowledge
The fact of my existence.
Weep for me now
When you reach for me
To find only
Empty spaces
In your heart
And hand.
Weep for me now
And then wipe your eyes
When all the pain
Is lessened
And able to bear
Through time
And distance.
Weep for me now
Though I still stand
Beside you
In Spirit
For love never
Dies.
Weep for me now
Because later
I want you only to smile
In remembrance
In love
Till the Angels bring us
All together
To say hello.
Then you may weep for me
Once again
Only this time
With joy.

Perhaps this is what our loved ones who have left this
Earthly life would say to us if we would just be able
to hear their whispers.....
