THE VOICE WITHIN IT WAS LATE AT NIGHT, I ASLEEP, A SCREAM AWOKE ME FROM A DREAM I RAN TO CHECK THE WINDOWS AND DOORS BEYOND TO SEE WHAT IT COULD MEAN EVERY STAR STOOD OUT IN REGIMENT AND DARE THE HAUNTING MOON MOCKED MY SEARCHING EYE WITH NOT ONE NOISE NEAR ABOUT TO HEAR BACK TO THE BED I WENT IN DREAM TO DIE SOON ONCE AGAIN CAUGHT UP IN A DREAM WICKEDLY THROWN INTO SUCH SWEET BLISS SHE TOOK ME IN HER ARMS IN LOVE'S EMBRACE AND DISCOVERED ME TO HER TENDER KISS LATER IN THE WAYWARD MORNING'S COLD MY NAKED BODY BARE THE BLANKET ON THE FLOOR I AWOKE TO A SCREAM, MY GOD! FROM WITHIN, I BEGGED TO KNOW THE ANSWER, "WHAT FOR"? "I WAS AFRAID", CAME A SHAKY VOICE FROM WITHIN "WHEN YOU SLEEP I FEEL MY LIFE IS GONE FOR SURE, SO I CALLED OUT FOR YOU TO AWAKE NOW I DON'T FEEL SO LONELY ANYMORE."
