A Promise to Each Other©
There once was this little Indian boy who traveled across this land.
He was all alone except for his friend,
They made a pack that they would stay together,
Never breaking their promise to each other.
They walked miles and miles all around,
Always sleeping on this harsh cold ground.
And in the nite you could here,
His friend howl Oh, so near.
No one else by his side,
He would sleep sound for that night.
A watchful eye on his little soul,
Always there beside him to console.
Morning comes the sky is so red.
They are hungry and need to be fed.
Going into the woods looking for food,
Coming across an ole' standing moose.
Asking the moose where to go,
They follow the tracks to the unknown.
Side by side they are together.
Remembering their promise to each other.
The little Indian boy falls to his knees,
Crying his tears, feelings not worthy.
Awensa, howled loudly into the woods,
Hoping that they would soon be heard.
All of a sudden there it was,
A valley ahead so far above.
They ran together and sang a song,
In front of them was the Phoenix Sun.
Glowing so brightly, they couldn't see.
An Eagle guided them to the place to be.
Now they are here always together,
Keeping their promise to each other.
