as I sit here trembling with fear
that maybe there is someone else you long for,
what a fool am I being to sit here with my heart in my hands -
but can I let this chance go by?
Is it right to not tell you
when I know deep in my soul
that we are meant to be ONE.
I was forgotten until you came along.
You make me believe not only in life,
but in love for the very first time.
In some ways, time stands still,
and all I can wish for is having you close to me.
You opened my eyes,
and for the first time in seeing your face,
I felt nature come alive.
The sun, the moon, the stars
are the gifts you gave me.
I'm holding heaven in my arms,
I'm walking on air.
Is this all a dream?
I never thought it could be -
I can touch the moonlight,

A miracle it's not,
destiny it is most definitely.
Our hearts are meant to be as one.
The fear we feel,
it's the great unknown that we've never experienced before
or never thought possible.
Let's not let our age, families, friends and the distance
become the obstacles that could destroy
this most beautiful gift we are priviledged to experience.
I want to take this time for us
to explore all our feelings,
our anticipation, our fears,
our excitement, our wonderment
and throw it all in, and swim
in the deep sea of the unknown and GO FOR IT.
Let go of any misconceptions, any societal beliefs
that has been bestowed upon us from generation past,
and the possible uncomfortable position we might face
with our individual support systems (family and friends)
and give this the chance it deserves.

and my world is definitely a better place now with you in it.
