The beating of my heart The beating of my heart I dreamt I loved you then awoke And realised it's true But dreams are just a shadow Of reality that is you I lay awake just listening to The beating of my heart Uncomfortable in my loneliness The pain of being apart I thought of you until the dawn Proclaimed the breaking day Now all my nights are restless dear Till again with you I lay You hold my love and own my heart You keep them with your own I have no need for either one While I remain alone The day will come when we are one Our time will come at last Until that day I watch the clock And count each minute past I miss you Raaj so badly No matter how I try I close my eyes and think of you And wait for tears to dry Do not forget the way I feel Do not forget my touch Without your love I am alone I love you very much LUBAINA Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
