If you were here now,
I'd know what to say, I run it through my head, Each and every day. I just don't have the courage, To tell it to you, How my heart feels, I just don't know what to do. I want to tell you, Let you know how I feel, But what if you feel different, And think it's no big deal. I wouldn't be able to live, Knowing that you feel that way, That's why I haven't told you, Those words I've been longing to say. But there's that little chance, That you feel the same, And just don't want to tell me, Cause you don't want to cause pain. Maybe we're both having, These feelings inside, But are afraid of the outcome, So we both run and hide. I guess I'll never know, How you feel for me, I just don't know what to say, I'll have to wait and see. Maybe someday we'll be together, Holding hands under the starlit sky, Telling each other we'll be together forever, Leting our hearts free to fly. But here I am, shaking myself back to reality, Hoping someday it will come true, That someday a person like me, Could end up with someone like you. LUBAINA Vote for this poem
