Suspended in blackness for infinity,
Blue and green alone in her entirety!
Touch her with value and worth.
This, our planet earth!

Perfection and practicality!
Cycles follow…
Day to year to another tomorrow!
Gaia is amongst us, for ages unknown.
Mankind has ignored her, apart from her has grown.
With no knowledge of her existence at all…!
Once she walked among us,
But now she has withdrawn!
She is only to be found in dew wet dawn.
She is found by her presence in shady forest,
Where she lies fast asleep,
Touch her spirit in ocean deep.
Taste her perfume in spring fresh air,
Hear her voice in summer birds and bees,
Sense her power within boughs of trees!
For those who don't wish to destroy,
Gaia is here in this planet for us to enjoy!
Though her heart…
Is being ripped out as we speak,
Shows how far man has come…
In desire to make her weak!
He causes nothing for her breakdown!
The damage he has done!
His future is no longer his own…
Because he lives for today!
Forgets tomorrow is not just his alone.
No thought does he give…
For how his children will live!
She will soon be broken and a ruined land,
All done with his faithless hand!
