PERCHANCE TO DANCE

I hear the music
To the dance
Of life
As
I touch the hand
Of the one
I want
To dance with
Forever.

I feel the beat
Of the music
To the dance
Of Life
Sensing my heart
Keeping time
Wildly
As I spin
Out of control
Trying to hold on
To what
Should have been
When
I touch the hand
Of the one
I want
To dance with
Forever.

I hear the music
To the dance
Of life
Still listening
But
By circumstances
For the moment
I touch no hand
Of anyone
I want
To dance with
Forever.

Sometimes
It's best
To sit
And wait
Some songs out
Or
Finally
To let go
And
Just dance
Alone.
