Just wishing the purpleness goodbye
A final farewell
The amaranth with all her beauty
She never fades
She never dies
She will live forever in the skies

I laud her beauty
Perfection beyond compare
Eternally watching, a duty
I could only ever sit and stare

For too many years I have found
She has held me spellbound
Looking at the purple haze
It has constantly held my gaze

But now I have broken free
Now I can start living as me
For beauty though at its most perfect
Is not the best to select

For what has she given me over these years
Other than wasted time and too many tears
She has not helped me when pain called at my door
Neither did she help when my tears fell to the floor

She stood there serene in her purple totality
With no thought at all for me
She has lived only for the beauty she owns
Never a thought for the pain she has sown

Yet ever onward will she stand throughout time
For her life is without end
Her beauty will ever shine out for others to see
But never again will that be me
