UNCONDITIONAL LOVE

I wrote this poem when asked the question: "Is there such a thing as love without conditions?"  My first answer was Jesus, but a friend of mine also suggested the love our pets give to is also unconditional!  so I have written one about that too. I'm also into anacrostics at the moment so enjoyed the challenge!

Unblemished his record!
No side does he have
Considering the treatment received
Onerous indeed!
Never
Did he turn any away, or
Incline to those who would sway
Towards
Injuring innocent ones.
Overly considerate and compassion he was
Nothing stood in his way
Always he held out
Love for God above all else
Loyalty was his to the last
Only his love with conditions, none were made
Victory a glorious and righteous
End!
