Go For It
If you think for you the future
means to take another hand
I won't try to hold you back,
I'll try to understand.
Not saying I'll be happy,
That it wouldn't break my heart,
For you are all the world to me
Together or apart.
But somehow, somewhere deep inside,
I think that I can see
Whatever makes you happy
Is what matters most to me.
So you go your way, I'll go mine
If fate has planned it so.
I've lost in love but never lost
The love for you I know.
So go for it, don't pity me.
Forget that I exist.
No doubt he'll let you use his pen
To cross me off your list.
