The great depression

I WISH YOU KNEW

When I think about
And remember how
You turned my life around,
How you healed my soul,
Cured my heart,
And rescued me from
Failures of the past.
I began to thank the Lord
For sending you to me.
Praising him for the day
Of your birth.

If you knew how I soliloquize
In uninterruptible stillness
Of my mind...
How I stood in awesome wonder
Of the works of your hand,
Searched my heart,
Imagining what would have
Been in the end, if you did
Not to make a change.
You would understand how
Much I am indebted to you, for
Your miracle in my life.

If you knew my deepest thoughts
And greatest fears,
How I had given up thinking for years
Your love truly meaning all to me...
You would understand how there's no other I wish to see
Deeply I'm grateful for you
Being so honest and true
Living without you leaves me with nothing to do
Removing the emptiness
And peril so visible to see.
How I wish you knew your love
Has brought this rapid change
In me
And you have truly set me free!
