Not always will it strike
There are days
When my mind just takes a hike
It leaves me feeling empty
Unable to write a word
Leaves me feeling morose
That I can write no prose!
I get comments from people on my site
Commending me on what I write
Saying I am good with words
But sometimes I get scared
What happens if my pen runs dry?
What do I do
If my computer goes on strike?
Well then, I couldn't speak to you
There are times when I wonder why
Words just refuse to come
It's not as if I don't try
