Never Give Up
Never give up
Though the journey is tough
And you think that you're tried hard enough,
That all your efforts are in vain,
The things you tried gone down the drain.
For such is life you never will
Get anywhere by standing still
And though you feel so much despair,
Step-by-step you're getting there.
Have faith in everything you do
Believe in where you're heading to
And you must know that one fine day
The end you seek will come your way.
We're all here where we are right now,
We've made it this far, so, somehow
We know the odds we can defy
As long as we're prepared to try.
So many hard times we have known,
We've had to face them on own.
Or have we? We've despaired, it's true -
But how in earth did we get through?
Someone must have seen our plight
And made sure things turned out all right.
So why not now? They're still about.
Never give up - and never doubt.
