I can still remember
a moment in time
when we were sitting on a blanket
sharing a special day with each other
as we both enjoyed a
nice cool breeze
blowing through our hair
I can still remember
all the passion that we
shared that day
while the two of us watched
the hummingbirds as they flew by
underneath a radiant blue sky
Fragrances consumed the air
and the meandering hills
were filled with tall grass
next to the meadow
I can still remember that day
just as if it was yesterday
when we laid side by side
as we fed fruit to each other
sharing a picnic for two
underneath a radiant bluie sky
