Days of Wine and Roses

Oh how I wish for the days of wine and roses and sparkling sunshine,
when we walked the sidewalks of Paris and I held your hand in mine.
From the top of the Eiffel Tower we marveled at the sights far below.
We laughed and sang in the warm spring breeze and love seem to
be ours forever to behold.

Some how the years have slipped away but we still remember
those wonderful spring days in nineteen fifty like it was only yesterday.
Those days of wine ad roses are gone forever, but our love will always last.
I will love my bride of fifty years until all of my lotted time has passed.
