Inside they light a spark
For all world to see.
My poems of the heart
Come and read my poetry,
The words that come from me...
To you, I write my soul.
Inside, my emotions are bottled up,
So on paper, I lose control.
Don't take offense in my work
These words don't mean to hurt
I only write the truth...
It could be about another person
Or maybe even about you.
To express my feelings, I write poems
That is the only way.
They are the only thing
That you can never take away.
