Inspiration rides the winds
And takes you to the limits
Therein lies the problem
When do you spread your wings?

Soaring aloft the clouds
The spirit guides you along
Your heart is filled with laughter
And you can only sing the song

The song is magic it holds you near
It gives you strength so you don't fear
It rides you through the storms you face
And lets your heart leave its space

The space wherein you hide away
The place, dark caves you go to every day
Hidden, your heart protected, but pained
Where nothing need ever be explained

Yet in your words your soar aloft
You fear nothing and your words are soft
You speak the words from deep in your soul
Peace is your perfect goal

Through your strength of writing
Inspiration leads you onward
Your heart can hope that love is there
You can show you really can share

But only in the written word
Can your words ever be voiced or heard
Never will you let them out to show
Never will you allow anyone to know

You hide your pain
Hope no one sees
You write your pain
To let your heart be free

But realise now your words tell
The person inside is opened
Let her out and let others in
Then your heart with begin to win

Inspiration is your salvation
Let it guide your path, this is the way
To help you get through the day
Just allow yourself to hope
