MANEFESTATION MANEFESTATION (or Don't Ask Me, I Only Wrote It) Along the river bank he walks alone, 'Brave' no more, mere mortal for all time, Cast-off, last of those who held the stone, Degraded, faded trace of untold crime. Endless reparation his domain, Forever blinkered from the flowing girth, God-abandoned, tortured in disdain, Heir to taint of accidental birth. Impeachment guaranteed from those above, Justice blindly strewn from those below, Kindled by the wrath of darkened dove, Levelled by the lash of blood-stained snow, Marking time in passages of pain, Never-ending paths of no return, Omnipresent etches in the grain, Persecuted by celestial discern. Quest - to test the challenges of God, Raven-headed harbinger of law, Sacrifice the trenches he has trod, To stigmatise the eyes that blinded saw. Unrepenting to the very end, Void the arbitration of the few, Worthless of the power to defend; Xerxes seen, the pillar cast anew. Yieldless night and burnishment of day.
