Comfort my spirit and soul
and everyone I know
with peace of mind and heart
And if I am angry comfort me
so that I may become stronger
with each passing day
Help me to sleep through the night peacefully
in every way so that I may be
completely refreshed in the morning
Comfort me so that I may speak less and listen more
I know there are many lessons to be learned along the way
Comfort me and lift me from my despairs for only you know my troubled heart
and I know that you are always near
Help me to remain firm so that I may stand
on solid ground so that I can remain
focused each and every day
Comfort me when I am depressed
and be my guiding light so that I may find my way
Comfort me so that my heart will not be troubled and help me to comfort others
when there hearts are burdened with sadness too
Comfort me to be strong and courageous when I am weak so that I may lead by example
Comfort me so that I will not be dismayed and stand beside me through my troubled days
Because you are my hiding place through every storm
Comfort me with perfect peace and set my heart at ease
I know that I will have my days so fill me with your ever lasting strength
Comfort me with morning mist and cleanse my soul
like newly fallen snow
Comfort me so that my kindness will continue to flow
Comfort me and hold my right hand through every storm
Comfort me with sunlight and rain and bless me with your love every day
Comfort me as I lay down and sleep so that your kindness will never leave me
Comfort me through the storms and stand beside me so that I can see the precious gift
of a rainbow in the heavens above filled with your miraculous colors
through your unconditional love
