Poetic-Verses-Awakening Spirits and Memories
Alone
Eternity stretches out
As I wade along the shore
Wafting sands in the breeze
As I wade up to my knees
Dark sultry night
Moonlight glinting silver
Splashes of light on the water's edge
The sounds of the music out of sight
Darkest shadow follows
Night creatures sing their song
Sorrow engulfs me
As a walk along
Gone forever from me
His face I no longer see
He has left this earthly plane
And my heart sears in pain
The emptiness surrounds
As I sit upon the sand
The moonlight bathes me in its light
As I sit lonely through the night
The loneliness I feel
Is deep within my soul
Leaden weighting down
Sorrow wears my frown
His eyes, mine can no longer hold
The softest gaze of golden brown
A voice caressed of deepest velvet
Without which I am cold
I sit alone without him
And this is how I'll stay
For he lives no more within
And I too died today
