Promise...
As we go thru life
sometimes we don't understand
What happens between
a woman and a man
There are always ups and downs,
good days and bad days
But we still love each other anyways
Some grow together and some grow apart
One way is love, the other a broken heart
I don't want to ever lose you
or leave you in any way
So please stay with me and love today
For I will love you yesterday,
today, and forever
I promise my love for you
will never die or fade away
You once promised me old age of love
Well, now I am asking for that time and a whole lot more
So please stay with me
and I will stay with you
