Rattled Glass

There's a hurricane in my head
There's a monsoon in my soul
There's a hurricane in my head
And it won't let go
No it won't let go

A simple rhythm in my heart
Keeping time with the angels
A warning light just ahead
Red light , danger , danger

The power grid is flashing
Better get ready to run for cover
The city's coming down
Everyone is swarming, everybody and his brother

The explosion fuses metal
Rattled glass, rattled glass
The nuclear wind has passed
Rattled glass , rattled glass

Now recon is coming
And the war of the world is interrupted
Tanks rolling in the streets
The rangers count the dead, surveying the numbers

Rattled glass , rattled glass

Children emerge in the streets
Ancient crying comes to pass
Parents dead and lost
The end is here at last

Shattered glass, shattered glass
