20 Apologies I apologize that we had to part After all our ups and downs, I apologize that we are no longer one And we cant turn time around. I apologize if I hurt you so Even though it was for the best, I apologize that we had something special But it went away, just like the rest. I apologize if you find yourself Dwelling in the past, I apologize that I find myself Happy because we did not last. I apologize if you're up at night Thinking of you and I, I apologize that you're still looking While a real, true love has caught my eye. I apologize for you having to endure Everything that I went through, I apologize because you couldn't stop doing Everything that you would do. I apologize if you regret the night I held you as you cried, I apologize because I am doing fine Even though our love has died. I apologize for it being half my fault That you had to move back to Louisiana, I apologize for every picture we took With every single camera. I apologize for the many nights you spent At my house when you should've been at home, I apologize for the many miles between us But even before you left, I knew your love was gone. I apologize for you not listening Because that's the reason you never understood, I apologize for even apologizing Because I know it doesn't do any good.
