THE SOOTHSAYER

I saw a soothsayer in Sussex
Saying sooth at the edge of the sea.
He was doing a soothsaying séance
While selling satsumas and tea.
Sadly the scene wasn't sentient
And some seeking soulfulls of truth
Saw something which made them suspicious,
Cos all he kept saying was "Sooth!"
