Poetic-Verses from ATHANASE
Moments Of Pure Eternity
The unutterable flavour of celadon green tea,
thin trickle of burning amber, thickly delicious -
puts to shame all that milk and water poetry !
*
To be apt and about in this glorious raw weather
and listen to the waterfalls of petunias distil its coolness -
a woman at the mirror as elegant as the dawn.
*
In the misty silk air, the fluent grace of an ipomoea in bloom
and a virgin's voice, stainless and unhurried -
opulent summer, let's begin the great ceremonies of sacriTranslated from the French by Norton Hodges
