Muscles are quickly weakened
Here where virtues are distorted
And pain knows not a short end
Because happiness is not afforded
And on your own accord do you smile
Even though there is no reason still
Because the only method of survival
Is to hide the way you feel
Atleast that's how I maintain
And make it through my day
Hiding cries and faking smiles
Forever carving my way
And while I carve, I carry this burden
On this journey also known as my life
Forks are always in my path
So I have to make a choice that's right
So, quick thinking leads me to the left
And I take the road less traveled
Because even though my fate is to fail
I will still pursue this battle
I will make my own way through destiny
Even if that sounds all too strange
Because since I do not like my stars, I believe
If I try harder, they will eventually change
My stars give little light to me
They are dark and have no flame
I make my own way through night, you see
They must not stay the same
One day my journey will be done
My battle will be won
And my stars will shine so incredibly bright
All those who see them will be stunned.
